Now this is lost is a series of experimental drawings developed by the practice, the title is a reference from Aldo Rossi’s 1967 engraving ’Now This Is Lost’. The drawings in the series is an attempt to display fragments of a once whole architecture. Compositions of new devoid of the old, compositions with metaphysical elements such as mysterious shadows, figures and objects. The drawings are a union of the physical and metaphysical. Like all our projects whether unbuilt or built, a perpetual existence in memory and echo through our ongoing work as recurring ideas, elements or instances of geometry.
